As a senior member of a consulting group in the UEA region, your responsibilities would include providing business consulting, roadmap and solutions for manufacturing IT, conducting business process mapping, assessments, and blueprinting for manufacturing operations management, and consulting on value-adding solution proposals and project scoping.
You would also be responsible for conducting client workshops and gathering requirements, designing and implementing solutions within manufacturing operations management, analyzing and reengineering client business processes to improve efficiency, and providing consulting for product evaluation and implementation for manufacturing execution systems (MES), enterprise manufacturing intelligence (EMI), and quality. Other responsibilities may include providing pre-sales support, managing client discussions and relations, and preparing documentation such as request for proposals (RFPs), presentations, requirements specifications, and high-level designs (HLDs).
To be successful in this role, you should have 13+ years of experience in manufacturing IT, with at least 3 years of consulting experience. You should also have strong experience in the manufacturing domain, particularly in production-related processes, and have completed at least one large MES/MOM implementation and multiple consulting projects. Knowledge of production, quality, and inventory management processes is essential, as is the ability to communicate effectively with clients in English. Fluency in Arabic, English may also be useful.
Additionally, understanding of standards such as ISA 95, ISA 88, and MESA, as well as knowledge of plant automation, system integration with SAP, and manufacturing big data analytics may be beneficial. A bachelor’s degree in engineering or industrial management, as well as a Master’s degree in IT or business economics, may be preferred.
